This is a locally family-owned small place with an option for a local food restaurant where you can do trout fishing in their well-stocked trout lakes. Located east of the Central Valley on the edge of the Central-South Highlands, it offers nice fresh weather with a breeze coming from the South Pacific.

Their camping spot is on a hilltop with no disturbances of any kind and a large private outdoor area surrounded by forest. From here, you can hike along the edge of a creek and enjoy a really cool morning shower at either of their two hidden waterfalls, just a 10-minute hike from the camping spot with light intensity trails.

It is a perfect spot for a night of preparation for heading south along the coast or exploring the highlands of Talamanca. It’s an ideal place to enjoy a nice family time where children can safely play outdoor games and even interact with other campers’ children on weekends.

The nearby town gives you the chance to get properly stocked if you are starting your overlanding trip, with local bakeries, butcheries, supermarkets, and greengrocers offering healthy fruits and local products.
