This is a large, family-owned farm less than 15 minutes from La Fortuna town and most attractions in the area. The vast open property will have you feel like you’re wild camping with a beautiful view of the Arenal volcano.

You can camp at any spot you like along the property, with spaces under the large trees, along the river shore, or among the small hills. There are a few small shelters available in the case of rain, along with restrooms, showers and a swimming pool. They also have special prices for families with children.

There are some small trails on the property that are perfect for spotting frogs like the “blue jeans” dart frog at night. The owner, Anthony, is a young outdoor enthusiast with loads of naturalist knowledge of the rainforest. He’s always willing to share the fruits they produce on the farm and teach you how to make a sugar cane juice with a manual sugar cane mill.
