This simple, small rural farm campsite is the half way point between the Caribbean coast and the Northern and South/Central Highlands. It is the perfect place to stay when traveling to the Caribbean side to split up the trip and get a peaceful night of rest.

The campsite is located along a small creek, which creates a constant relaxing background noise of running water throughout the night. In addition, the property has a swimming pool, shelters, and designated spaces for parking the car and setting up camp, with access to water, electricity, and local fruit trees.

The owner, Adrian, doesn’t speak much English, but he is a wonderful friendly guy who cooks the old fashioned way. The restaurant prices are very reasonable and the cuisine is a local traditional Costa Rican BBQ style food using all local ingredients.

This campsite is approximately 2.5 hours away from most nice Caribbean beaches, 45 minutes from the Sarapiqui Forest area, and about 1.15 hours from La Fortuna.
