It has a perfect location if you are on the way to the Nicoya Peninsula by road, just deviating like 20 minutes from highway 1 into the Miramar town or even if you are planing to board a morning ferry to cross to the Santa Teresa and Montezuma area of the peninsula, just 50 minutes from the ferry boarding port

The view from the camping is outstanding because you are on a ledge looking at the central pacific facing the sunset and that perfect ledge location has a fresh breeze blowing ideal for a comfortable camping night even chilly some nights

If you like the genuine costarican cousine you have to visit the Doña Zula’s Restaurant, named “Restaurante Dylan”, where you can enjoy genuine costarican service and the best “Ceviche”, outstanding “Handmade Tortillas Aliñadas” and “Chifrijo”.

There are hidden waterfalls just 10 minutes driving away form the campsite the name is “Catarata de la Mina” // “Mine Waterfall”, just walking steps from the road connecting Tajo alto to Velasquez and if need reference you have to ask locals and anyone can tell you the exact entrance spot
