This campsite is located on a hilltop property just 12 minutes driving from the Santa Elena town and 25 minutes from the Santa Elena Cloud Forest. It’s the ideal spot for a private camping experience with a stunning view of the Northern Highlands and quick access to the nearby town and activities in the area.

The camping spots are located on a wide open area with optimal views of the surrounding cloud forest. Each morning, you’ll wake up to the cool mountain breeze with birds singing in the nearby treetops. It’s an isolated property, perfect to unplug and rejuvenate away from people and busy town activities. They offer designated fire pit areas and fire wood so you can keep worm on the chilly cloud forest nights, and the newly renovated shower areas offer hot water and bath supplies for a “luxurious” camping experience.

There are trails located right on the property that lead down to the nearby waterfall, and the owner can also help you to reserve hiking tours and other activities in the area. The campsite is also conveniently located nearby many Monteverde attractions such as the Santa Elena Cloud Forest, which has ove 12 km of trails and 2 outstanding viewpoints.

Be aware that due to it’s location, the wind currents on the campsite can get quite strong, especially if you are camping here in January or February. In the case of strong winds, you’ll be able to set up your tent in an area that is protected by trees to avoid uncomfortable sleeping conditions.

The road leading to the property is very steep and rough, so it’s recommended that you have a 4×4 vehicle.
