Camping Eddy’s Bioluminescence

This campsite is located just 5 minutes up the road from the Paquera ferry landing dock on the eastern end of the Nicoya Peninsula. It’s definitely worth the visit if you want to participate in a magical nighttime bioluminescence kayaking experience!

There are several spots around the property that you can set up camp, which is located right next to the beach where the boat and kayak tours launch from. It’s a nice quiet, clean and comfortable camping spot with access to sanitary services.

The nighttime bioluminescence kayaking/boat experience is the main attraction here. Eddy, the owner, is a friendly local guide who is enthusiastic about sharing the magical bioluminescent waters of the bay. He is very knowledgeable about the phenomenon and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others. It is truly an unforgettable experience to see the sea waters glowing in the night!

Note:

Located just 2 km up the coast from the Paquera ferry landing, this is a highly recommended spot for nighttime kayak and boat tours.
