Camping at La Ceiba Ecoadventures

This secluded campsite is located about 25 minutes inland from the Dominical beach on the Southern Pacific Coast, and is a great spot to stay when traveling between the Osa Peninsula and the Central-South Highlands on route 243. It’s a wonderful option to get away from the crowds and feel completely isolated in nature with nearby hikes to waterfalls.

The campsite is located on a hidden hotel property in the forest, with designated open camping areas surrounded by trees. They have bonfire pits for use with wood collected from the property, and small cabins available in the case of rainy conditions. You’ll have full access to the facilities and network of hiking trails going through the nearby forest to pristine waterfalls and natural pools. The owners also have a restaurant if you’d like to get a bite to eat during your stay.

This is the perfect campsite for feeling completely isolated and deep within the forest – you’ll be surrounded by wildlife sounds with no signs of the external world. The nearby waterfall hikes include some steep slopes, so be prepared set your own pace and take it slow. Nevertheless, you will feel completely renewed after swimming in the light blue color pools among the waterfalls.
