This peaceful, laid-back camping spot is located just 2 minutes walking distance from Playa Negro on the Caribbean coast, right next to the town of Cahuita. It is a nice quiet place to stay within a short drive from the famous beaches of Cahuita National Park.

The property is located on a white and pink sand beach, with a small camping area right in front which has room for a couple of ground tents and about 3 cars with rooftop tents (not big enough for large caravans or trailer trucks). You’ll have access to all the facilities, including a kitchen with fridge, outdoor dining area, and clean showers/toilets, and there are a few cabins that you can rent in the case of a rainy evening. Maria, the owner, is known for her hospitality and will help you out with anything that you need during your say.

The campsite is covered by tropical plants and trees, so will feel like you are tucked in a private nature paradise with wildlife such as sloths and iguanas surrounding you. You can walk 80 meters from the campsite to a small natural pool formed by a coral reef for a nice swim during the hot beach days – it feels like a hidden light blue private pool made just for you!

This campsite is very popular during the high season (November-February) and during the peak season holidays such as Christmas, New Years, Easter, and summer vacations. Due to its limited space, it’s best to reach out via Whatsapp to make a reservation in advance if you are traveling during these dates.
