This small rustic campsite is located right next to the town of Samara in Guanacaste. It’s a chill beachfront location perfect for hanging out on the beach, getting a beginner surf lesson or exploring the nearby beach towns.

The campsite offers several tidy spots along the Samara beach under the almond trees with access to showers and electricity. The beach has small to medium-sized waves, perfect for body surfing and boogie boarding. There is a surf school and board rental right next to the campsite if you want to have a lesson or catch some waves.

The nearby towns of Samara and Carrillo are small, authentic beach towns that are not as visited by tourists as other places along the Pacific coast. You’ll be able to visit the variety of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and cafes while experiencing the easy-going beach town vibes.

The owner, Eduardo, is a great guy who has three friendly dogs and is passionate to keep the place well secure and clean for his guests. He’ll be there to assist you with anything that you need.
